This iconic mantra has inspired #PashFam members from all over the world to conquer their fears and take action towards their goals. We have a saying here at Passion Planner and it continues to resonate with people everywhere. It’s what drew me to this company in the first place:

When asked to design stickers for the newest Passion Planner Daily release, I was eager to create content that would bring joy and empower others. I felt rejuvenated by this opportunity to challenge my lettering skills and ideas for an inclusive product that caters to a growing, global community.

Simply put, I was excited to #JustStart.

Sketches

I love designing on paper. It allows for flexibility, mistakes, and rapid ideation. During my brainstorms, I am welcoming of all ideas — both good and bad.

Prototype

Mock-up

After receiving critique from my Product & Development team, we decided on a sticker design. Using Procreate on an iPad, I quickly produced a rough mock-up.

Create

Final Design

With final feedback from my team, I then lettered and refined my quote design on Procreate. I also created other type artwork for our upcoming Sticker Sheet.

Later these assets were digitized by my colleague and the Lead Graphic Designer, Carolina He. She finalized the layout for the PPD Sticker Sheet files, which then went into production.

Reflection

I’m very proud of the final product and was humbled by the #PashFam’s positive response. Most importantly I am grateful for the opportunity of designing stickers for one of my greatest role models.

Today, the #JustStart quote has found its way onto T-Shirts, envelopes, sticker sheets, planner spreads, and more. This mantra has undoubtedly changed many lives, including my own. And because of it, we as a community have found courage within ourselves to dream big and create the life we’ve always wanted.
