More than a quarantine game…
My love for the Animal Crossing series started when I was young. And I mean, back to the GameCube days. I spent my childhood obsessing over this game with my brother and cousins. I think back on those days fondly. I even named my dog one of the original AC neighbors, Biskit.
When the pandemic hit, AC New Horizons was more than an escape for me. The game fueled my creativity and sharpened my eye for design. It was a platform for me to explore urban planning, interior design, and even user experience. It also reflected how I lived IRL.
This is a portfolio of snapshots from my island, Chippo. Just like me, it’s a constant work in progress. And just like in art and design, it’s something I’ll continue to refine again and again.
